You may now kiss the biker
Bethany Jernigan owes her bestie. Big time. So when wedding planning overburdens the bride-to-be, Bethany steps in to handle the nitty-gritty. But the guy in charge isn’t anything like she imagined. He’s gruff, tattooed, and 100% male. His staff is even rougher around the edges, and it’s not long before she feels as if she’s stepped into some kind of crazy alternate reality.
Are those…bikers? Arguing about wedding favors?
Trey Harding never wanted this to get so out of hand. One little lie somehow snowballed into a world of dresses and flowers and food and holy-hell-he’s-in-over-his-head. But it’s not like he can confess he’s not the wedding planner he’s pretending to be—especially now that he’s falling for the maid of honor! His charade is becoming a farce, and as engines rev and ribbons fly, Trey’s running out of time to figure out how to tell the truth without losing his new family, his crew…or the woman of his dreams.
Bikers & Brides Series:
To Have and to Harley (Book 1)
The title of this book made me curious… the blurb made me wonder… the story made me laugh and cry… Although the story was maybe a bit farfetched, it was funny and emotional as well. We meet Trey Harding, a rough biker with tattoos all over the place. His rough appearance and his biker crew scare a lot of people away. Being raised as an orphan, because his mother abandoned him as a baby, Trey is bitter and mistrusting every woman he meets.
Bethy is an orphan as well, but raised by her harse and mean grandmother, who hates her. So, growing up, she stayed over at her BFF’s place a lot. So when her bestie Sarah is getting married and Sarah’s mother asks Bethy to help out with the wedding, she is more than willing to do her share.
And then Trey appears. He is supposed to be the big brother of Sarah, who was kidnapped as a baby by the nanny and disappeared ever since. Bethy doesn’t trust him at all, but Sarah’s mother is convinced it is her long lost son and when she discovers Trey is a wedding planner, she asks him to plan the wedding together with Bethy.
But Bethy is convinced he is a fraud, only after the family money. So, she is bend on unmasking Trey as an imposter. While trying to find out his secrets, she discovers there is some much more to Trey than meets the eye. She starts falling for him. But can she trust him? There are so many strange things going on with Trey and his crew…
Find out for yourselves how biker boys and pink and ribbons collide. Wonderful read, four out of five stars from me and a special thank you to Netgalley for providing the arc.
